Summer, hell yeah, finally. Yesterday it was 19 or so, shorts weather! I love how nice weather puts me in a general better mood. Also the fact that I went to bed at 9:30 last night, so much good sleep. Last Saturday I checked out a whole bunch of houses; some were shit, a few were good, none jumped out at me. Going again this Saturday to see more, so who knows! Maybe it will be my lucky day.

I have to find a laptop for my sister so I'll be doing some looking around this weekend. She waiting too long to get it, and now she needs it in like a couple of weeks, so the chances of getting an amazing deal are not so good, but we'll see. It could be better if I get one and then send it to her, because I can make sure it has all the right stuff on it and is good to go.

My stupid phone battery is pissing me off; I want to get a new one but I'm waiting until the house stuff is done so I know if I can get a no money down mortgage or not. Dammit Telus, don't be jerks and just give me a replacement battery. $50, I don't think so.

My easter was pretty excellent; like I said, Oana was here from Wednesday until Sunday and good times were had by all. Longer would have been way more awesome, damn you distances. I've actually been casually checking out jobs in Boston, since that would put us only ~2 hours apart, driving. No worries, there's nothing seriously considered yet; but she's going to be in Hartford until next September or so and if I were to get the right offer for a job in Boston, I would very much contemplate working there for a year.

On Saturday I'm going with my realtor dude or whatever to look at some houses, fingers crossed. It might be hard to fill all my requirements / desires with my price range, but hopefully I can at least get most of them. Location wouldn't be as big a factor if I had a car too, and I would consider getting one if I could afford it at all, but that's not an option right now.
